In the Club

Five minutes in the club
And all I wonder is if you’re still up
Nine minutes and I realize
that all I am is just disguise
Ten minutes and I’m out of place
watching other people take my space
Twelve minutes since I’m here
And all I wish is you’d be there

I’d rather go outside and talk
of all the things you have to say about the world
I’d rather watch you fall asleep
Then all these people on a peak
I step outside and try to breathe
Before I grab my stuff and leave
While all I hope is you’re alright
And that you’re having a good night.
